Just got my Dodge owners mag in the mail and noticed it had a reminder for 2007 6.7L owners. It states "trucks equipped with a 6.7L engine should perform EGR and EGR Cooler maintenance at 67,500 miles. This service will ensure optimum engine performance. It involves disassembly and thorough cleaning of these components and should be done by your local Dodge dealer.". I have been considering a new 3500 and was going to put it off until this fall and was on the fence between the 5.9L and 6.7 - I believe I just got booted off the fence! And may have to move sooner to find a 5.9L. Anybody with a 6.7L have any info about this or what is involved?If you do it yourself will it void the warranty?
