Oh Oh!!!! Silver in the oil sample means CRANKSHAFT... bearings have babbit, cooper ect ect... no silver.

As drew said, you need to pull your sample from the oil pan.

That much soot after the bypass! I used to race Buicks, and when high silver content would show up in an oil analysis,it usually pointed to wrist pin wear, just a thought.
