Default I cant stop thinking about Stacks

I really want to run stacks but Im afraid the noise will be too much.
I ran straight pipe on my truck and thought it was entirely too loud and was wondering if anyone on here had stacks on a third gen and if the sound wasnt too bad and if the cab noise is ok.
that and if anyone sees a stack kit for cheap let me know.

if anyone gets some time a photo chop of stacks on my truck would be cool. there are pictures on my cardomain

Maybe you'll have better luck on getting a chop in this forum, I posted a request for the same thing in the chop shop forum a couple of days ago and haven't gotten one response. I don't think anyone really goes in there.

believe me Ram It... I've done my research and have spoken with a number of people on the subject. All have said they really aren't much or any louder than a pipe out the back. That is as long as you're using a muffler. I have a Aero exhaust I'm going to try first. If it doesn't give me what I'd like for sound.... Grand Rock makes baffles that fit into the stacks. They're coming out soon with a new baffle that's much quiter than the current one. I"ll probably try it if all else fails.

I took a ride in a Dodge the other day that had 7" stacks. He was running a TST and it was completely straight pipes from the turbo. It had a deep rumble and definitly was louder than a muffled exhaust but.... really, is wasn't that bad.

GO FOR IT !
