By fooling the ECM with false information, the device causes great amounts of low end torque. Like the Triple Dog with the torque management setting enabled. And YES this definitely can cause damage that CAN affect warranty repairs. IMHO

What kind of damage can it do? Will it leave a code in my ECM? I am just looking for a little more off the line pep. -JAke

I have the Quadzilla Boost Fooler and it didnt give me any large amount of low-end torque. Actually the bottom-end seemed to stay pretty much the same. Its nothing like turning on the Torque MGMT setting on my Triple Dog....in my own personal experience. The higher boost levels I'm getting while towing really helps out in the power department and it keeps the EGTs in check while it dropped 'em just a bit as well. Probably the best $70 I've spent....

Lots of guys on another forum are running them on stock trucks and trucks with programmers.....no issues yet. A couple guys have put some decent miles on the stock turbo while pushing over 35-40 PSI on a regular basis with no problems. A friend of mine did this and then put a aftermarket turbo on his truck.....after inspecting his stock turbo, there was no wear/tear from the higher boost levels and he drives his truck HARD!
