Hi all, beensurfing throughthe site for a while, lots of great stuff posted on here.

This truck is the first diesel I have owned, still stock. Going tostart adding some power mods but gonna be a slow process (4 kids=expensive!).
Ive been looking at the Edge Juice/Attitude, seems like a prety safe computer and wont need to buy guages.
Plan onkeeping it on the lower levels until I can afford tranny mods. Most of my driving is 50-60mph with light towing and light off-roading.

My question is if I am only running theJuice at the lower levels, how much of a performance/mileage gain would I really see adding aftemarket air intake and exhaust? Seems like the stock Air intake and 4" exhaust are pretty sufficient. How much extra power would I need to be making before it really suffered from having stock intake/exhaust? I was thinking along the lines of maybe an Amsoil air filterand an Aero muffler. any inputs?

mods on these trucks are VERY addictive. . .you'll start off with a box, next thing you know youve got the engine pulled and your putting in a helix cam, 150hp injectors, fire ringing the pistons and installing twin turbos.

the edge box will give you a mileage bump. . .however the problem is that you'll want to have it crunk all the time
