Default 19.5 wheels

Has anyone done the 19.5 wheels? I've got a 2004 4x4 3500 diesel dually quad cab. The stock tires are shot at 40K miles. Any input appreciated.

22.5's from alcoa look alot more bada$$. I have seen them, both sizes look nice, expensive but nice. You have to also get wheel adapters though to match the 8 lug to 10 lug. One nice thing about the 22.5's are you can put tractor trailer tires on which you can get at least 100k on them plus they are re-grooveable, which is cheaper than buying new ones.

I plan to go with 245x19.5s by mid summer. 225s are same height as 235x17s. 245s are about 2"s taller. I saw new dually going thru Atlanta last week with 22.5s. The truck did look good but the outside wheels were way out from under the wheel wells. I also think they would hurt you if you are towing.

I've seen them done, looks real good too. I believe tires are more expensive though than the 22.5. But you want need a lift.
