thanks mayfair - thats not a bad idea and it wouldnt be hard to do.. but its one more thing to remember and probably would get overlooked.. i think it will only be an issue when im hooking up by myself and running back to check alignment.. i suppose ill get used to it

I don't see why everyone backs up with the door open? I don't open the door when I back up and I haul around plenty of trailers. I don't see how it helps. I just use the mirrors or I stick my head out.
