Default Saw a real nice first gen CTD today

So i stopped in to the local turkey hill today and parked next to an old first gen ram 250 Cummins turbo diesel manual tranny and all the options it could have from the days it was built. Got out and was talkin to the owner. He was completely taken back that an 18 yr old would even know about the 12 Valve CTD and that it was a first gen ram. It was rc long bed. Really clean and in great shape. it was a 1993 which hapens to be the year of my old f150 which is no longer wiht me, miss it forever, Said he got it in Texas which was the only place he could find one. It was really funny how taken back he wasthat I wassaying how nice his truck was. Tis a shame pplcan't appreciate the classics anymore.

now see if you can find an 88 or 89 first gen. . .I passes what I thought was a 90 or 91 on the way to the golf cource, D350, RC dually, white. thing sounded pretty good and the old coot driving it was eyeing my truck

I see quite a few of the real old ones but the thing that stuck out was that this one was in great condition. I mean really no scratches that I could see, mebbe a few but nothing really noticable, the body was flawless. I wanna be the old dude that drives the mint condition classic truck that just turns heads when I get older. I guess he was so amazed since young guys nowadays seem more into rice rockets than trucks. Well I guess i'm just different and proud to be.
