what does it do? do u remove the cat and the muffler? can you on a 2004 CTD? also do diesel pickups have O2 sensors?

 

I cut the muffler and the cat out on the way home from the dealer. I also installed a bully dog triple dog with outlook with about 1300 miles on it. I dont think that there are any o2 censors on the diesel trucks. You will be happy go ahead and cut away.

 

nope. . .no sensors in the exhaust of the 5.9's

the only thing emissions on these trucks is the cat. and most have been run off

 

is the cat easy to take out? how much more noise gain do u get? mostly turbine noise? so its just str8 pipes from the manifold to the rear?

 

yanked mine out with a sawzall. I did gain a little rumble, however since I still have the stock muffler it is still pretty tame. . .one of these days she's gunna get a bit rowdy, just havent figured out how yet

 

I removed my cat and muffler and boy was it loud. The next day I put a muffler on, as my buddy owns the muffler shop and didn't have one in stock, and it got a little quieter but when your on it, you can sure here it.

 

I did the muffler delete, It sounds good. Not too loud, but has a good growl to it
