i keep my edge comp on 2 with the other mods on mytruck and can put out a cloud of death at will in any gear.could the previous owner possibly done injectors,or does any one else have the same deal?

 

Anyone can blow smoke in any gear, if the RPM's are high enough.

that may work at high RPM but.... oh my ! try lugging the truck in a high gear with low RPM's. You won't see the sky behind you :-)

 

I agree with triton, main reason because that way ur dumping fuel into her but not getting the rpm's to spool the turbo, lots of fuel and not much air equals smoke cloud. Collin if ur asking if what's happening is a problem, well maybe it is. check to make sure that ur air filter isn't clogged and that the engine is breathing. A good indicator of this are ur EGT's. If ur egt is through the roof then ur definately lookin at something being plugged up.
