the trans pan has a reusable gasket, the filter is right inside the pan. I use atf 4, lots of the guys here run amsoil. Dodge told me they wanted 80w with their limited slip additive in it, I went ahead and changed to 75w90 synthetic and added the limited slip additive and so far so good.

no need for friction modifier in the 03 and up AAM axels.

oh and the stock gear ratio is 3.73, 4.10's were an option, if nothing is listed about the axels then you most likely have 3.73 open diffs.

so NO friction modifiers or limited slip additive for 2003 and up?just use 75/90 synthetic in diffs? what about transfer case oil?
