there's some very nice LP's out there besides the FASS.

It's expensive, it's bulky, it's not easily repairable on the side of the road. It does have the water separator though which others don't. The way around that is to just reuse the stock filter housing. Not sure about yours but, that's where the fuel heater is and water separator is.
Hush your mouth child !!!!

I don't think I'd be working on ANY lift pump on the side of the road, and I'm pretty sure there are enough out there that getting parts for one wouldn't be THAT difficult. Yeah ... it's big, but it hides away from site easily up under the bed.

As far as the heater goes, I continued to use my stock filter housing with a modified / missing filter. That way I'll still have the heater.

Works like a charm ...
hope you don't end up eating those words.... to each their own

This reminds of of a great movie quote
"I eat pieces of $hit like you for breakfast"
"You eat $hit for breakfast?"

Happy Gilmore!

Well dude, I don't know why you got so defensive. Sure, you can find parts but, you'd have to take you pump completely apart to do any servicing. It's not a user friendly pump if it happen to go out on you.

I in no means am pushing this product but, if my walbro went out it would take me 10 mins to install another.

I didn't bash the FASS at all. I only pointed out to the land Sharx that there are other very nice LP's available out there.

In fact, GDP now has a mechanical pump soon to be released. Between it and about 4 others available.... it's worth looking into all of them.

Whoa whoa whoa triton .... I think you missed my in the middle of my post.

I wasn't bashing anyone or anything !! All I was doing after my was explaining how I managed to keep my fuel heater. I agree there are other LP's out there that are probably just as good. I was just having fun... that's all. I think if you re-read your second paragraph in your original post you can see where you opened youself up for some ribbing. Sorry if you took it the wrong way.

Thanks Demon who makes the best after market turbo? Mine only does it if a get on it super hard no other time, just like yours
I have only had the PDR40 "hybrid". I think it's a 40 turbine and a 45 compressor. Works like a bear.

Good luck.

not to step out of line and answer when not asked but.... I'd suggest looking in to http://www.htturbo.com/dodge.htm#b or http://www.industrialinjection.com/
both leaders in the field and very popular turbos.

Also http://www.atsdiesel.com/ATSWebsite/...bo_systems.asp has there Aurora line and Turbonetics has some nice one's too... http://www.turboneticsinc.com/turbo_overview.htm

The best thing for you to do is, call which every turbo company you choose and tell them how you like to drive your truck. They'll tell you what turbo would be best for your application.
