Cool cool.
Because driving in the city with my truck and the turbo is nice, but I've got the low gear ratio and a 4spd tranny, so I top out at like 80, and it whistles a lot on the freeway, so I would put it back in when I go camping and stuff far away.

 

just curious on how easy that ring is to take out, im sure i could info on here somewhere but i figured it would be easier to ask. i just put an aero on my truck followed by another straight thru muffler and i LOVE the sound for those of you who have been following my exhaust progress, now that turbo would be nice louder but i want to keep the intake stock. would it be worth it to take that ring out and keep stock intake or should i just wait till i go with a after market intake, and also with the ring out does it affect any performance being that the factory did put it in maybe for a reason other than sound reduction?

lol, i knew that was coming, i can already see it...im going to take it out like everyone else did at one point, then its not going to be loud enough so i gotta dump money into a better intake.... i see where this is all going but i gotta start at the word free

 

hks sells a filter that fits on the turbo its self. thatll make it louder than most intake systems or any system at all.

 

other than sound, whats the benefit!!
