Whadduya think? I looked up the Amsoil and it says right on it that it's made for the NV5600.

You can't use just any gear oil!The oil that Dodge puts in the NV5600 is 100% synthetic and does not need to be changed on a regular basis. I changed mine at 160k for the first time since owning the vehicle and I do some serious towing with mine. I used the Amsoil Synchromesh fluid. Don't ruin a $4000 tranny trying to save $10 on fluid.

I agree. I want to put the right stuff back in...I don't know exactly what this truck's been thru so I figured I'd go thru all the fluids. Does anyone know how many quarts? Is there a post of all the fluid reqirements and capacities like the diffs and transfer case?
