Ok, is it true that a programmer, chip, and box and such will not work on a 97 cummins? If so, I didnt know this, but, someone on another forum didnt have to be such a dick about it[&o]

 

I am not sure, I have used a programmer on my 06 hemi and am gonna get one for my 05 ctd,but I beleive that 97 does not use one. in fact I am sure of it because of a friend of mine has a 97 and can not use one, mechaincal power as oppose to computer power. imo much better (mechaincal that is)

Until you get to the '98 cummins everything that you do has to be a mechanical mod and I believe the same thing goes for the gas engines.

 

Yeah, we got it all sorted out. Hey, while I am at it, does anyone have any info on the bosch p7100? I dont really know anything about it, and he wants to know and I am still trying to learn as much about diesels as I can...
