I think that step is a sweet idea. I want one.
You know why they make cool things like that don't you? Because they want people to buy their trucks for the step, not for the ****ty diesel engine and the truck itself. They're trying to sell the step, because they know that Cummins makes better motors, and Dodge makes better trucks.

 

I dunno other than the cruddy engines i think some of the innovation on the new super duty are really cool perhaps dodge should look into the super duty designs and use it for their trucks because ford does have some good innnovation the problem is they concentrate on that and not a decent powerplant. If they put some of that innovation into making their own diesel they'd be way more successful with than that psd piece of junk. the best one I saw was what they called "rapid heat". it's basically an auxilary electric heater for when u first start ur truck and it isn't up to temp to get u heat to warm up the cab. It will use this to at least get the cab a bit warmer until the heat from engine can come in. As far as the step thing goes, i applaud them on that too. because if ur that stupid that you fall on that and hurt urself well ur probably a bit dee dee dee.

buck. . .thats why it takes 6-8 bolts and probably 4 plugs to remove the cab. . .much easier to get to the head to replace the dropped valve, blown turbo, and stuck injector.

I remember a few yrs ago a doctor, guy was well educated and a well respected doctor. was checking the lvls of water/ acid in his lawnmower or w/e it was batteries. He used a friggin match to get light down there. dropped match and boom. Now he can't practice as a dr cuz he's got one eye and missing a bunch of fingers or something like that.
