I personally don't add anything, but most people on this forum do.

You will definitley get a lot of opinions about this one. I use to run Drew's brew and the only thing I noticed was the motor was a little quieter. I haven't used it for about 10,000 miles now and don't really see any difference. I will run anti-gel in the winter.

Based on my experiance thus far with my 04, the Power Service (available at wally world) made a big difference.
My truck had 54K on it when I got it. At 70 MPH using the cruise I got 17 MPG. After two tanks adding the PS (and MMO), it went to 23 MPG at 70 MPH using the cruise. This all happened within 2 days driving from Dallas to SLC Utah.
Now I think that the improvement was due to the injector cleaning effect of the PS, not any magical properties that made it get better mileage. When this bottle runs out, I will stop adding anything and see what happens. I do forsee myself adding PS every few tanks of fuel to keep things clean.

Funny you should ask .... tonight I JUST added 1 oz of 2 stroke motor oil per gallon. Basically I got 26 gallons of fuel, so i put 26 ozs of 2 stroke in there. I'm adding it to help keep the lift pump and injector pump lubricated. It would be a big plus if i also gained some mpg's since my last 3 tanks with the new FASS installed and not uning any additives at all only gets me 13.6 consistantly.

No major diesel engine maker
Cummins, Cat, DD, Navistar, Isuzu
recommends putting either
Marvel Mystery Oil or ATF
into today's diesel fuel.

Most don't recommend any additive
but I believe I read that GM is ok'ing
the newest year 2007 formulations of
Stanadyne and Racor additives for the
Duramax.

Stanadyne.

Dealer recomended I put it in. Truck is new so not sure if it is doing anything. I am going to stop when current supply runs out and compare.
