Default Need Rear Axle Help ASAP

My truck started pulling to the left when I did a hard brake and was towing 10,000+ lbs. So I pulled off the rear drums and the real seal on the passenger side is leaking oil all over the inside of the drum and pads. The leak is not bad enough that the oil is making it to the ground or outside of the drum.

Does anyone have any instructions on how to get to the rear seals and change them? Do I just remove the 8 9/16 bolts and pull the hubs off? or is it more detailed than that? This problem is on an 01 CTD 4X4.

You'll pull the axle shaft out, then pull the hub off, seals on the inside of the hub.

Do I need anything special to pull the axle shaft out?

Nope, just pull off those eight(?) bolts, put a pan underneath it and smack the axle flange (in towards the diff) with a hammer if you can't pull it out. The axle should then just slide right out.
