Is it just my 2004 dodge 2500 ram or what? went to open hood at night other day and no light. looked and found no bulb, socket or wiring. do all dodges not have that?

 

I am pretty sure that mine has a light.

 

it's actually part of a lighting package, something else you gotta pay for .

You can buy any kind of 12v light and hood switch at most auto parts stores, they even sell a kit just for this, simple to install

 

ok thanks. I aint joking mine seriously deosnt have it? That seems odd to me you would think it would be standard equipment.

I don't have it either. I was shocked when I looked under the hood and it wasn't there either.
