Who here uses that 3000 amsoil hdd 5w30 Oil (i think thats the viscosity)? and what benefits have you seen this far? (fuel mileage, oil color at change intervals, cold weather starting, smell, rpm increase from less friction etc...)and how much is it a litre compared to conventional oil and can you just switch like that from conventional oil to amsoil?

I have it in my truck for about 3K now and so far I like it much better then the 5w40 Rotella synthetic I tried out. My truck runs quiter at all speeds with the Amsoil 5w30 HDD in it then it did with the Rotella 5w40 in it and I also get better cold oil flow in the wintertime.

As for cost the Preferred customer price is $111.00for 4 one-gallon jugs or if you want to save a little more money you can buy 2, 2.5 gallon jugs for $130.60 and these prices don’t including shipping or sales tax. Being my dealer does warehouse runs so I don't have to pay any shipping cost.

believe me i wanna use the amsoil. i use AMSOIL INTERCEPTOR in my sled. Just that for my diesel it seems PRICEY. Oil at home here is like 3$ a litre and amsoil 3000 synthetic is $11 a litre. Thats a $132 oil change not counting filters (especially if i have the $200 BMK-11 kit)Has any1 tried the bmk-11 kit and how do u feel about it?Any1 try the amsoil ATF? or will the dodge atf+4 be just as good?

I've used Amsoil AFT in all of my Dodge product transmissions over the past 7 years and never had a problem from using it. In fact I just had my trans filter changed a few weeks ago and had the dealer use Amsoil AFT to refill it.

IIRC steve05ram360 has an Amsoil BMK-11 on his truck and had a post about it some time ago. As for the price of products from Amsoil have you checked out about being a perfered customer (its only $20.00 a year) as you can then buy the products at wholesale prices like most of us around here do?
