The new Ford has the tailgate step which is pretty cool . I wonder how long it will take for an after market for Dodge?

I would never use the step. I alway's use the tire and jump in from the side of the bed.

I prefer to step on the side of the bumper and put my fingers inside that square hole on the bed and hop up onto the tail gate. Just my 2 cents

I usually use the tire. I wish I had something that big when climbing into the back of a HMMWV sometimes...

Do watch out... wet tires make for bad stepping stones (and sore butts)
