Default GEAR RATTLE

My new 2006 4x4 has a louder than normal (compared to other trucks) knocking. I took it to the dealer today and they called it "gear rattle", said they had a few come in complaining of the same thing. According to the mechanic some just do it and it will hurt nothing. He call STAR (Dodge tech support) and they said they might try lifting the injection pump and rotating the gear 180 and see if that helps. Anybody know anything about this.

run some power service and see if it quiets down. . if it does then you need to find some hills and do some full throttle launches to clean out the muffler
