Well I just got back from a trip to Sandusky Ohio from Reading Pa with my old mans new truck and it was great! With Drews brew I averaged between 20.3-20.5 mpg. Without the brew, he normally sees 19.5 mpg.

It was a great trip and the truck is really great. I have to admit it is a lot better on the road than his 03 Powerstroke. I hope these pics load up alright: there are a few from washing it the day before I left and a few while in Sandusky (those are the hard-core offroading pics where I'm crushing that curb ) Had to have a little fun!

How come you got off road tires with your 4x4? [&o]I guess for me it is a reason to upgrade tires and rims

 

Ive got those same tires on my truck. . .I would HARDLY call them off road tires. . .but they sure do wear well on road.

 

hey wish ur from reading PA you sed. Dude I'm from lancaster which is like just a bit south of ephrata and what not. I'm just amking a guess but since you say ur "old mans truck" i'm guessing your prolly right around my age. I'm 18 just graduating high school, from penn manor hihg school if u've ever heard of the place. Kinda cool to meet someone on here that lives so close. I like the cabelas hitch cover. That place is amazing.

Those are the same tires that came on my Tundra and they SUCK! Both my father and I can't wait until they wear out. My father is a simple man who wants a truck that will run forever....so he bought this awesome truck. He got a decent deal on it because they were trying to "get rid" of the 5.9 liters as the 6.7's were coming in. The salesman was an idiot though. He told me to people put "throttle body kits on these diesels and make crazy power, like 300 horsepower and 300 lbs of torque" Why would you sell a 40+ thousand dollar truck and now know a damn thing about it?![sm=lame.gif]
