Where to tap brake controller red wire to?
I have a 2004 2500 CTD ram quad cab. Its previous owner had a brake controller hooked up because i can see the 2 mounting screws left behind under dash. I know how to hook it up except for the fact of where to tie in the red wire. Blue goes to plug at back(bumper), White to ground, Black to Positive + and where to tap red wire into? On my dodge all there is by the brake switch is a connector with like 5or6 lil wires coming out.Which 1 do i tap into and where would previous owner tap into because I see no tape or connectors of such? Does dodge have a special plug to tie into for brake controllers? any1 with info it would be appreciated.
Did some searching and check this out.

no i have 2 plugs at back. 6 pin and a 4 pin. Im not sure if truck has traile rpackage but I just need to know where to tap my brake controller into under dash?
You can get a plug in pigtail from any trailer place or your dealer that lets you wire the controller to the pigtail then there is a direct plug in under the dash for the assembled lead. the only wire you need to hook up seperately is the blue.
I have an '05 and that's how mine hooked up.

you mean the blue connector (4 prong) that has nothing plugged into it? Its behind ebrake area attached to some kinda connector block? Can i detach it from there so i can hard wire my brake controller wires to it? (more slack)
Can someone plz post pic of this connector under dash plz?

The pigtail will give you plenty of slack. Just can't understand the extra work involved in tapping in.
