Well i was telling one of the sales guys at work bout this ford scared of the dodge and well now hes talking $hit to me bout how bad his truck and how his is faster then mine i just laughed.i said i ain't scared.now all my fellow mechanics that work with me are like are taking sides.the ford guys are taking his side and the guys who like cummins are cheering me on lol.
He has a 06 6.0 4x4 swb stock tires with a a quad race box and a superchip flash pac.and he said all your gonna see is my tail lights i just laughed.i said ya will see who gonna lift our heads of their engines lol.
what you think guys im pertty hyped on this.i think i can smoke him.and he is talking major crap.Its the mech vs the salesman.lol

I hate to say it. . .but those ferds are pretty quick stock, the programmers only make them faster. . .only probelm is the engine is a POS even in stock form. he might edge you out by a little. . .but not much.
Ive taken down a few 6.0's where I live. . .it was close and my clutch was hating life the entire time. BTW, all the 6.0's I have gone up against have been auto's, and here I am rowing a boat with my 6spd.

Don't forget to let a little air out of your tires and cover the tow strap with a tarp.

bottom end torque does help alot when leaving the line. . .however our engeins only rev to 3200. . .the 6.0 I believe goes all the way to 3800 or a bit higher. . .he's gunna stay longer in a gear than you.
it is a toss-up. . .however I still think he may edge you out by a little, unless he blows a turbo or lifts a head from boost
