Default How much 75/90 for front and rear diffs?

I tries to search but cant find the litre amounts i need. i want to change oil in front and rear diffs on a 2004 ram 2500 4X4.Before I dump my oil (cover) i want to buy oil first. how much do i need? Will a 4 litre jug do both diffs or do i need 6 or 8 litres? for both?

am i the only that has wanted to do this? everyone else takes it to garage for diff oil changes? Id say approximately 3 litres per diff (6 in total)...am i right?

I cant remember how much I used on my 04 but fill it til you can touch it with your little finger. the gaskets are reuseable so be careful with them.

it's about a full gallon for the rear and a bit over half a gallon for the front. . .you need synthetic and the best over the counter would be mobil. I'm partial to AMSoil personaly

To do both front and rear in my 06 it used about 7.5 qts of 75/90 SVG synthetic gear oil.

i just picked up 8litres of amsoil severe gear 75w90 synthetic. ill put it in tommorrow. does any1 know torque specs on diff covers or just make them a bit more tighter than snug?

I did not use a torque wrench, I just used good and tight setting in my hands. Oh if you tighten the bolts too much they will break off.
