Jake and I went with the FASS lift pump with filters. It comes with everything you'll need to eliminate your old system and apparently it has a pretty good track record. I mounted mine back near the tank, whereas Jake got all fancy and made a custom bracket and mounted his up under the hood. either way, it's WAAAAY better than stock. Constant / CONSISTANT fuel pressure keeps the VP-44 ( and your wallet ) happy

hey mayfair, i noticed you have the newer style dodge rims on your truck...i think? how much were they and how much was that fuel system u have...looks like all u do is run new line from tank, to pump, to injection pump ?

Yeah, the rims on my truck are from a 3rd gen truck. An 04. I think they look pretty cool.

The FASS fuel system that I have I think cost around 700 bucks. Six and change. Yes, it's designed to pull from the tank through itself and then up to the VP-44. I routed it through the hollowed old fuel filter housing first so that I could continue to use the fuel heater.
