Default Stacks done, pics for Mayfair!

(2) 6' lengths B stock 5" chrome $50
(2) B stock chrome elbows (ebay) $50
Misc clamps, 4" mandrel bend from junkyard $60
Smiling every time I start the truck................priceless

I think it turned out pretty good. Welded a 4" piece into the cross pipe instead of using a Y pipe. It really opened up the truck compared to the banks 4" that was on there. It wants to pull past 3k rpm now. I could notice it wanting to fall off after 2600rpm before. I left them tall to see how they looked. I was going to cut them down a bit but the tall look is growing on me. Here ya go mayfair.

Nice, someday that will be me too. The only reason I haven't yet, is because i finally have a long bed and don't want to sacrifice the space. I run my own handy man business and haul a lot of 4x8 sheets of plywood & drywall.

LOL. I insisted on buying a longbed too after we got the green truck. Looks like I'll have to put the tailgate down now if i need to haul some 4x8 sheets. [:@]

But it's totally worth it. I've never been happier with any mod I've done to any other vehicle I've owned.

If there was only a way to split them down below and have both sides shoot right up through the floor. But I guess then there'd be no room for a fuel tank.

Man does that look good! I'm liking stacks more & more each time I see them. How did it connect up underneath the truck?

Hacked off the banks with a plasma cutter, put on a 4" mandrel 90, and that brought it up about 1.5" from the piece I welded into the 5" cross pipe. I put a small piece of 4" flex between the two just to compensate for any body flex, vibrations, etc.
