Im asking only because I just got JACKED by Alstate

I don't know if you remember or not, but about 3 months ago I ripped the front end of some ladies car off. First accident I had in as long as I can remember. I hear these Alstate commercials about "accident forgiveness" and stuff so I say to myself "screw it, I'll turn it in". The total claim / damages was only $1700.00. I just got my bill,and my insurance has just gone up $400.00 a year. I went from paying about $1300.00 a year to now about $1700.00 a year.

Im a 41 year old guy driving a 10 year old truck. Am I wrong for questioning this or what?

 

no not at all thats bs i have erie insurance and im 18 years old and i only pay 1600 a year... one of the other things you have going against you is that you live in the city.... but hey try out erie and a couple other companies..... i do remember you saying about that accident.... did you ever find the wheel cap?

 

$74 a month with a $250 deductable. I go through State Farm and we have our house and 4 vehicles through them. So I think that helped a lot.

 

i pay 2000 a yearfor full coverage on my 07.but i have had one wreck in my 05 thats when they got me but i have state farm to so there not the cheapest but they have always gave me great service.

 

I pay 280 month for two drivers three cars. (Mustang not insured) through progressive. all clean driving records.

 

$166/mo through USAA for three vehicles, two full coverage and one just has liability and a few extras. that comes to just under 2 grand a year.

 

I'm gonna hafta start looking around.

I've got my house, 2 bikes, and my truck all insured with Allstate. One thing I didn't mention is that I have FULL tort, not limited and un-insured under-insured coverage. Here in Philly, they estimate that 40% of drivers are driving with either lilited or no coverage at all. For my truck alone my new rate would be $143.83 a month.

I even pay for everything all at once hopeing to save money there as well !!

yea i here you philly is horrible for driving not to mention everytime i drive through philly i get cut off like a million times people blow stop signs red lights honk non stop!!! it drives me nuts!

 

come on down to atlanta. . .even the cops wont pull the 4 people that just ran a red light. and block intersections.[:@]

 

~153 a month for 3 vehicles, 2 drivers. Full coverage on 2 and liability on the 3rd. I do have all of them + the Houseon State Farm so I get the multiline discount/etc.
