Level six....

 

How did you get a Big Horn with the Aisain trans? I was told only the C&C could get that trans and that the regular trucks like we have only come with the Dodge built 68 trans!

Now as for wanting to add a programer to your truck the people I've talked to who have been around it for a while say its not a good idea to add one to this engine so if you do good luck.

 

I think the only auto you can get with the 6.7 is the aisian it was sitting on the lot that way. I don't know why the programmer would effect this truck different then the 5.9 I know it has more smog stuff on it but I am not messing with that. I am also waiting a little bit to see what can be done to my truck. I did call the dealer and just like Cummins they say that adding a programmer in itself will not void my warranty

 

If they told you a programer will not void your warranty then get them to put it in writing on the dealership letter head, my self I don't think they will do so as it would casue them big problems if they did it. If you were to ever take your truck some other place and have to it worked on you will see how fast they will void your warranty with it on there even though your dealer may not say word about it being on your truck.

I just talked to a person and he tells me the the C&C's have the Aisian transmission and the standard 2500 and 3500 trucks are only are available with the Dodge built 68 transmissions.Was it listed on the window sticker as having the Aisian or was it just 6 speed auto? FYI Dodge does built its own 6 speed auto for the 2007 trucks with 6.7L engine.

 

Charles is right. . .the CC's have the aisian 6spd, where as the regular productions get the 68RE. main difference is the 68RE does not have PTO ports.
