too quiet
Anew intake to the turbo, removal of the turbo silencer ring, new exhaust (or just no muffler and cat [obey all local laws, [sm=smiley2.gif]], most kits can replace both) and a new camshaft. I mention the last one because Diesel Power magazine mentioned one last year that added 10hp, 50ftlbtq, and 2-3mpg under all driving conditions. It also made the engine sound more like the old 12v. I'll go through my stowage bins tomorrow and try to find the article.
Now, since you said you have a 5.9 and not the new 6.7, you should be able to replace the intake and exhaust easily andremove the ring (free). The camshaft is more, but the est. cost should be covered in 30K miles.
Again, check with the pros here before going off my half-wit ideas, but they worked for me.

it louder than a muffler delete it sounds good but i want to shake the ground like the older ones did will it get deeper if i add a programmer

I have a friend who is a diesel mechanic that went to some cummings continuing education class. He said that the new engines are injecting a little bit of fuel on the entire compression stroke with a final burst near top dead center. Supposedly this is the main reason they have become so quiet.
