i know a desiel is supposed to smoke but what color ,how much and when? what is the smoke code for a desiel?

 

Stock truck smoke should be black or dark grey. Mine only smokes if I accelerate very hard. On rare occasions it will smoke on start-up for a few seconds.

 

What do you mean by smoke code?

 

mine barely smokes at all, i have on 02...i want it to smoke how do i get it to ? i have he edge programmer, and im doin stacks monday. already did the intake...

 

My code is don't **** me off if you got the windows open, God forgive me but I had a guy jump in my lane and then went no where, so I was forced to a stop and had to change lanes, he had his windows down so I floored it and filled his car with gray smoke and left a bunch more for him to drive through.

I used to just get white smoke, but since I put the Rokk sensoron it and advanced the fuel timing I find I got closer to black smoke till the turbo catches up

 

 

i did turn it up to level 4, i have a stock automatic tranny...so i dont wanna hammer on it toooo bad yet. but still not much smoke came out.

im getting that edge too and its not like i wanna smoke all the time but it would be a cool little truck trick to show off. whats the best way to do it, just maybe step on the brake and give it some gas?

 

i am guessing its because yours is an auto. manuals you can really make the day turn to night.
