seagulls are protected for some reason. I believe its a 10k fine if you get caught. Don't now why, there's billions of them and it's impossible to keep the truck clean between the gravel roads, rain, and seagulls.

Chickens crows, pigeons, nope, it is a Duck, in fact it is named "Ducked Determination"

The Icon was built up to assist with an ongoing "Darling Duck Derby" charity event for C.A.S.A. of Clayton County GA. http://www.ducksrcoming.com

CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates - for children, a volunteer staffed charity effort to advocate for the rights of the child.
http://www.gacasa.org/

Team Guardian Motorsports in conjunction with CASA of Clayton County have developed a project that is focussed on developing interest, educate, and entice male volunteers, what better pool of males than us Gearheads. The cool thing is that any and all sponsorship and or donations of parts, equipment or $$ etc. is tax deductible as it is donated to the organization for the "Team Guardian Project".

CASA is National. but, does not have programs in every county of the Country, as yet. Clayton County GA, winner of the 2007 CASA Excellence award for Georgia, is using this promotional entity to engender male volunteer and sponsorship interest.

Thus far, I display the truck at the local police stations, court houses, city halls and community events throughout the county and surrounds, its been received by the community with great interest, but it is a little hard to hide while driving it round..:-))

From now till 2008 Drag n Brag season starts, I am building it up to be competitive, no, I know it will not be 10.25 for the quarter, day one, but it needs to run well to not only keep the kids focus, but also to keep the interest of the males and families that bring their kids to the tracks. At the unveiling, we had near 150 kids n Adults crawling all over it, and the 7ft Duck we have wandering around to promote the cause.

So I am open to any and all best practices directions for beefing up the beast and give her a chance to show the gassers that an old work truck can rip the black top with the best of em.

Got one word for you brotha .... STACKS !!!!

EVERYBODY loves seeing that coal come rolling outta stacks, ESPECIALLY kids !! HUGE attraction if you can shoot flames outta them !! The truck can run a 20 second 1/4 mile, but if it's shootin flames along the way, it's a winner !!

The only thing I miss about living in Oregon is the cheap 4-year License fees, the ocean was only a short drive away and fresh fish and crab. I hated the traffic in the PDX and Eugene area where I livedand when I went back last year I was ready to shoot a few people before I even got to Portland and by the time I got with in 15 miles of Eugene I was ready to leave the state and never return. But I have to fly back to Eugene in Dec for our daughters wedding or it would be a hell of a lot longer before I stepped foot in that state again to be near a bunch rude *** unfriendly people and the same for WA state too.

I'll keep an eye out for ya and blow somecoal your direction[8D]

I hear ya!! It took me longer to get from Portland to Seattle than it did from Salt Lake to Portland, well almost. Believe it or not, the seagull is the Utah state bird!!
