Default dealers dak

Big red was in the shop today and the dealer loaned me a 2006 V8 Dakota to drive while they had my truck. I don't know if any of you has driven one of these butit was the most gutless piece of junk I have ever drove a 4 cylinder could outrun them easily. Icouldn't believe how slow it was

I got 2 Dak's sitting in my yard now, an extended cab, I bought new in 94 with the 318and loaded, had power but the brakes sucked big time. now the 93 I got for parts, had cruise control and nothing else, it's so light it flys, but the CTD will still outdo in a heartbeat.

I still got a lot of mileage out of my 94 it has 225000 and still running good except for the rear end bearing went out and needs changed, but it's been sitting since I got my CTD

We had a Dakota for about 6 weeks - - dang thing leaked so bad when you washed it there was a 3 inch puddle on the passenger side floor.

I drove it once I went back to my VW and left it in the driveway for the hubby. I agree w/ you that it was gutless. You had to STOMP on the pedel just to get the dang thing off the line.
