Default Alright, finally got a new truck..almost

I put a deposit on it today and am going to pick it up saturday. I am so sick of looking and calling dealers. Its not the color I originally wanted but I like it. The price is ok but he is willing to give me blue book on my truck which has been unheard of. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...mp;cardist=413

Dude, that looks SWEET !!

Low miles, a 5.9, tan interior ( which I like ) and I really like the color. That new cup holder area is cool too !!

I REALLY dig it !!

I have the fold down cup holder in my current truck and I like the looks of this one much more, they have to use that one because of the floor shifter. For the amount of miles it has on it and with it being the big horn package its a really good deal. Trucks with more miles like that are typically going for around 34-35k (do they not realize a new truck can be had for about 34k??). Everyone has been averaging about $24-$25k on my truck and this guy up and said $27k. Its amazing what I paid for it and whats it worth now.

It's funny you mention the cupholders, I was looking at trucks on the lot and trying to figure out what the dam difference was to get the
cupholders on the floor... figured I could sneak the CB in where it starts to tuck instead of the other mounts you guys have been running

Yeah the cupholders are shallow and weird shaped. I think they could be better. Anyways I looked all over texas trying to find an 06 with the tan interior in a mega cab, no wear to be found. So I had to live with the grey. Nice truck BTW

Well thats dissapointing, the cup holders I have now are actually a really great design. I mapped out the journey with my gps on the laptop...its a good thing I like road trips! From new orleans (slightly north of) to their its right at about 8 hours. I have to be back saturday night so I may leave friday evening and at least make part of the journey so I dont have to rush so much saturday. My dad and my son are coming with me, I guess co-pilot and back seat whiner you could call them.

There is just no possible way it can be as bad as black. I really dont mind washing, I typically pay someone anyway but with the black truck you had to be so careful it took forever.

Why wash? It just gets dirty again.[sm=joke.gif]
