Default AC problems

I have a 2004 2500 diesel and I have been having problems with the driver side vents blowing cold and the passenger side blowing cool to warm air. Any suggestions

it could be the condenser fan.. i am getting mine fixed.. it blows cold and then will blow warm and then cold again! random too... dont pump freon in because of pressure build up could cause problems with your condenser... i can tell you.. look at your condenser fan.. located on the driver side... beside the radiator and see if the fan has three little holes in it! if it does then you will need a new one any how.. they go bad. i dont recommend aftermarket. they go bad too.. the one for the 1500 is $175 .. i dont know about the 2500.. and it might be different in other states.. im not sure im in fl! but check that it might be the casue. but dont put freon in until you hook it up to some gauges to check the pressure.. 230 to 250 on high end 30 to 50 on low end!

the 04's also have software probelms that cause evap core freeze up. Have your Dealer check it, some had problems with the evap temp probe too! Good advice though, start with hooking up a set of guages and see what the system is doing. then go from there.,

exactly.. it was quoted 750 with labor to redo the compressor and fan if it has a pressure blow although it has a high pressure sensor the shuts the compressor off if it get too high!
