Default Edge install...bad turned good

So I went to the shop to get the edge installed today.
I turned in the predator for a 500 dollar credit towards the edge.
So the guy brings out the edge, starts the install.
hour and a half later I hear the truck fire up. runs for about 3 seconds then dies. Then I hear it star again, runs and dies.
Im like WTF, at this point.
Then I hear him say its not workin. So I go to talk to him and see whats up.
He tells me the edge is shutting the truck down because of low voltage to the exhaust brake. (BS)
So we unhook the ex brake and try it again. Nothing.
So he disconnects 1 battery then reconnects it hoping it will do the trick.Nope.
So he tells me there is nothing more he can do and EDGE is closed so he cant call.(btw I drove 1.5 hrs to get to this place cause I live in the sticks)
So he tells me to call edge and see what info I can get. I said im not paying the remaining 400 buks for this thing if it dont work(after 500 credit from predator).

THIS IS THE BEST PART............
So he tells me he doesnt have time to deal with it and for me to take it and see what I can do and if it is defective send it back and get a replacement.
I said theres no way im payin for it if it dont work. He tells me dont worry bout it, if I cant get help from edge bring it back and they will give me my 500 buks from the predator back.
So I get home, disconnect both batteries, install the unit. Boom, works perfectly.
So here I got an edge installed (all i had to do was reconnect injector plugs and MAP sensor plugs), he did the EGT and turbo timer.
Installed and out the door for 500 bucks even.
Needless to say I will not be going back to that dealer but I was happy with the end result

Well your gonna build it up right? Or was this more for the power to pull? Either way the Edge is fun no matter what.
