Just wondering if I can upgrade my stock tranny to handle the power im puttin at it. I heard somethin on here aboutputting ina kit or something. Any suggestions?

 

Probably a tc and a valvebody upgrade

It cost me w/ labor $2,800 (BD VB & TC) also including double deep pan. Got it done at Ken Imler Diesel in Sacramento.

 

getting the whole tranny rebuilt with the triple lock converter (none ats, suncoast etc..) for $3638 OTD. As mentioned in the other thread, this is a HD rebuild with kevlar band & better clutch packs, also going up +2 disks in 3rd gear we'll see how it performs on Monday...

definately... I just sent my TST in for repair (code 31... egt probe problem) so it'll be a while before I get to put power back thru it.
