well the one with the most weight in the bed will Winn, its not a hp question its a grip and weight question, as long as you don't stall the engine, and since you both have more than enough hp to spin all 4 tires so, its all down to the tires and weight in the bed.

the real towing test is up a 8% climbing long road, with a 10,000 lbs fifth wheel trailer and then seeing who can maintain the highest speed

Chevy all the way. My brother had a 4x4 F150 4.6 and some genius at Ford put a 3.31 gear ratio in it...in a 4x4! The truck was so weak he sold it and bought a Cummins. Any 4x4 3/4 ton should outpull a 4x4 1/2 ton, especially on pavement with street tires. The mud terrains have less rubber on the ground and thicker lugs that will have more give in them. Make sure your gas tank is full so you have all the weight you can get

well I am a ford/dodge man but I have to admit the chevy will win, more traction, more wieght, plus I admit those f-150's were a terrible ford creation and should all be crushed and shed of the ford name LOL. Now against my f-250 460 powerhouse thats another story........

Figures, you can't post anything on here without getting a response from some idiot sitting
at home with his thumb in his *** with nothing to do. I care because it is my friends truck, and
I wanted to get other truck guys opinions. If you don't care don't respond moron. For everyone
else thank you for the responses, and opinions. I will post pics of the pull when it happens.

Lighten up dude, did you notice the smiley face after what I posted, it was a joke! We do that sometimes here. In the future please refrain from calling people names before you get to know them. Have a nice day.
