Default Tranny Rebuild

I have a 99 2500 and the tranny went out, well the dealer is finally gonna agree to rebuild it, and I highly doubt there will be a warranty on it, so I was wondering if you guys know anywhere I can buy some awesome aftermarket clutchpacks and torque converters
and I also want a shift kit. the problem is I have 1300 dollars cash thats it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys.

Now would definitely be the time to build it right and not have the dealer out it back to stock. Unfortunetly, $1300 isn't gonna get you very far. A built torque converter alone will set you back that $1300.

These guy probably build one of the best if not the best clutch pack on the market. I would call them and talk to them about your needs and how to go about doing something on a limited budget.

dang, tranny stuff aint cheap is it?! Well down here in good ol' Utah Tanner Trannsmissions said they could rebuild my tranny for 1800, but then it would just be stock and I would be out 1800 bucks, but the upside of that is that there will be a warranty on the tranny for as long as i own the vehicle, but the downside to the upside is I will have to take of my edge juice with attitude off if it breaks down again LOL.

Cheapest way is to do it yourself, but I'll see how that worked out for me tomorrow.
