Happy B-Day to Me!
Traded in my 2004.5 2500 Quad Cab CTD for a 2007 2500 Mega Cab CTD yesterday.
It is a Laramie package, so it had all the options I wanted except the clearance lights (which I just ordered). I had the dealer swap my polished aluminum rims and Michelin tires for the crappy chrome clad aluminum and BFGoodrich tires that came on it. Also kept the bed cap which I'm getting painted to match this weekend after Line-x bed liner is sprayed.
Kids love the extra room, reclining seats, and DVD entertainment system.
I like the 6.7L Cummins and the 6-speed automatic. Very quiet, strong, and smooth. I'm also expecting better MPG (after break-in period) since it has the higher differential gearing (3.73).
