yeah those straps are bad about coming loose

 

Let one of them winches on a big rig flat bed come off when its under tension

 

if i am tieing stuff down in my truck is it more reliable to use ropes and good knots. or those rachet straps?

 

Jake, I really like your truck the way it is, but if you were to switch it up, I REALLY like this one a lot !! It looks AWESOME !!

What's the big deal with the removable sides? Why is that so important?

 

I dont like it, its fine for a work truck but once you make the switch no one sees your truck as anything but just a work truck. Kind of like a truck and truck with the toolboxes that sit on the bedrails all around the bed and a ladder rack.

Mayfair, with removable sides, I could pull 2 quads up on it sideways insted of up the back and having to push the quads around. This is no show and shine truck, I bought it to use it. A flat bed would just make things a whole lot easier.

 

Those rails don't look THAT high Jake. I don't think you'd have any problem hopping over that little lip, especially after hopping over BOULDERS all day.

 

My fear is that they would bend. My quad weighs 640lbs empty.
