Well I think Tim will be bringing his cheby (not a typo) out on the scouting run since he has those days off but definitely a no go on the 4th. I'll just have to help him pull his running boards off otherwise he'll be removing them the hard way on the trail. [8D]

Well I was just talking to my wife about going out and she reminded me that I woll have to be home before 6:00 to get my son from daycare since she won't be able to get him but other than cutting it a little short I'm good to go.

you should have no problem there... we will have an early enough start so that we're back in Truckee by 4~4:30 at the latest. I cant see us being up there that long.

For those who want to know where it is we've been going & where this trip is...here's a map...

http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTEx...8835&mag=5

the current plan is to drive past Bowman lake, then hang a right and head out to French Lake & Meadow Lake to explore the Summit City townsite & Balitmore City townsite (maybe) and then over to Webber lake & out. this will take us out to Hiway 89, 15 minutes or so outside of Truckee. From there it'll be about 1hr 45 minutes or so back to Sacramento...

I'm new to the board and hell only got my Cummins Mega last night (traded in my Hemi) but I will either be up north at Mom and Dads (They live in Danville) that weekend in August or the following weekend so if it works out I would love to hook up and meet some of the fellas.

welcome to DF... send me a pm with your email & I'll add you to the list. If you can makeit, plan on an all day trip if coming from Danville...

3 or 4 of us are planning a dry run next week to make sure everyone will not have a problem. the idea behind the trip is to meet & greet, then go have some fun w/o coming back all dented up.
