I'm planning a meet & wheel day for any DF'r willing to head to the Sacramento areaon Aug 4th so anyone who is interested send me a PM and let me know.

The plan will be tomeet somewhere about an hour away from the trail head and to go on an easy to moderate trail to take us thru the sierra's to see some of the sights. The trail will be picked out of the "Backcountry Adventures" book which is a book geared for stock to mildly modded SUV's so I would expect that stock trucks will have no problem. Owners with concerns about coming back with dents... dont be, I wont take my truck thru anything that will leave a scar so you wont have to worry anything hairy. I'm planning on scoping it out anyway before we commit to any given trail so you'll know what to expect.

So who's up for a trail run on Aug 4th?

Steve did you get in touch w/ Kersten? That's the same day we planned on yesterday w/ Kevin. I was going to post today, but you beat me to it.

 

he emailed me that it was on the 5th, which is Sunday... I cant think of a better place to compare suspensions though...

 

Yes I meant Sunday the 5th[sm=outcold.gif]. Had my days alitttle mixed up.

 

Sounds like fun. I think that is around the same time we are going to tahoe with the boat. I will wave as I pass by.
