the parking break light on my dash is broken so every once in a while i accidently forget to take it off and i drive with it on. yes i know haha. but you dont even notice when it is on and you are driving.

just wondering if anyine has this problum

 

sounds like the light is blown.

 

Mine flashes when in drive without brake on.

 

just put your foot to the floor when you put the parking brake on. If I don't stand on mine it don't hold worth a crap. You can put it in 1st and it takes off without any throttle.

My parking brake light just started doing the same thing. It will not come on when the brake is on. The bulb is not blown because the brake light comes on when you first turn the ignition and when you do a dash diagnostic. However, my truck won't move an inch when the brake is on so I know real quick that it is on. I would like to fix the problem, so if anyone has an answer please let me know.

 

On my ford there was a censor on the back of my pedal that went out and my brake light didn't come on. It may be worth taking a look
