Tow Mirrors
2004 2500 Diesel
Just installed "Kool-Vue" (power, heated) folding tow mirrors, noticed a little vibration in the mirrors when going down the road. (didn't notice this with the stocksport mirrors). Bought the mirrors from Diehl Auto Parts.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Is there a way to tighten the mirror in the enclosure to eliminate the vibration?

I have an 04 with the factory ones and haven't noticed any vibration. I would imaging you can pull the casing apart, but not sure what you would find in there. I don't know howthe mirror mounts
Good luck
Good luck
Sorry no pics yet. Will get some asap. Just bought truck last Friday. Had to swap out mirrors because I'm pulling a 30' fifth wheel and I wanted to be able to see my wagon better than I could with the stock mirrors.

I JUST notice my stockers wiggling a couple of days ago. I don't remember them doing it before at all. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the heat? Does anyone know if there's a way to tighten em back up? They're the power / heated ones.

On my '97, take them off of the truck, on the mirror housing there are a few bolts and a flat piece of steel behind two bolts that holds it in place but still allows you to swing them in. Mine would close when on the highway, take them off and tighten the two bolts, (no pics but you'll se what I'm talking about).
