Trans. temp sensor location? Where? (title changed)
Hey guys, am installing the gauges (Dipricol Optix) supposedly all the parts needed were included,
However I am up against a wall here, I have tried to install the tranny temp sensor and it won't screw in where I thought it was supposed to go. I have taken a pic and put a red arrow noting where I thought it was to go, the view is the passenger side...someone please tell me what I am doing wrong, or where it should go if it goes somewhere else...I really wanna get this done today, I already drilled and tapped the manifold and have the egt sensor in, the tranny temp sensor is kicking my butt though!

well, that sucks had to quit for the night, too dark to see clearly, managed to get the egt sensor installed, and ran into the cab and the boost line ran into the cab.
Notes thus far.
1. Never trust a guy that tells you everything you need is in the box!
2. Never trust a guy that tells you this is the best stuff you can buy!
3. Never trust a guy that tells you the color will match the interior!
4. installing the boost bolt and line as noted here http://www.dieselmanor.com/diy/CMS3-gauge/G3image5.htmis a serious pain in the ***
5. Tranny fluid on tools makes them very slippery
6. Powdered laundry soap makes great hand cleaner, but stings like hell when youwash the cut resultant from #5

I did unscrew teh one in the front but it feels like an abstruction in there (felt around with a small screwdriver while it was leaking fluid all down my arm).
If I make an adapter which I can do easily enough, wouldnt that be inherently inaccurate because you would not really see the temp of circulating oil, but rather what is moved into the adapter until such time as osmosis has heated that oil. Or is that just a Stupid statement?
