I just dropped 500.00 (450 plus tax etc) for the superchips tuner for my 06 ram 2500

I also went with Toyo open country mud 35x12.50x17 E rated to get rid of the stupid death wobble on the bfg all terrain tas that I had.

I cant beleive it but I am getting 21 22 hwy on this upgrade with drews brew as well. have the calibration on the tires set to 34.50 and set to performance. when I mash it it really really gets on it.

any idea what this did to the horsepower? I am guessing mid 400 I suppose..

anyone hear of any danger from the supership engine modification / tuner? please let me know if there are anystories

Yes, please have some gauges! Dealers do not like programmers, your warranty will be voided if you have any issues that cause them to go digging in your computer.

Could someone tell me what they recommend in regards to guages? I really dont know what to buy

 

When I looked at programmers I was told the super-chip was 90 hp and 125 ft/tq. That is what I was told by the pro-shop. Just be sure to return it to stock if you do go to the dealer. I have been in the shop 3 times and they never could tell. All 3 times they plugged into it and checked everything out. I would get a EGT gauge at minimum. My wish list is a trans.,rear axl,.boost and a EGT gauge.

I went with the autometer setup... egt, 60 psi boost & tranny temp. mounted mine in the dash under the heater controller.
