Default Boost fooler, Should I get one?

Just wonderin if anyone has any thoughts on the boost foolers? Can someone explain how they work? And do you benefit from using them?

They allow the turbo to build more boost by keep the wastegate closed. I would be afraid something would blow up.

There are 2 types of boost foolers. One just caps the signal so the ecm will only see up to that point, from then on the ecm will read steady boost as the fooler hides the extra. This is the type I would recommend. The other type hides part off the signal throughout the whole range so the ecm is seeing less boost than actual through the whole range.

I honestly havent read about anyone having an issue with them but I wouldnt put on on my truck. Boost levels get up to 40psi with my truck set to stock, I am fine with that.

Thats odd, we have the same truck..I think. Typically I dont see over 20 but if I really get on it I hit 38-39. Moderatley hard accell is about 30-35. This freaked me out at first so I turned the edge to stock and I still hit 39psi.
