I have 2007 - 2500 with 6.7L Quad Cab, Auto, 2WD, 3.73 axle with around 2800 miles. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) has came on 3 times and the dealer has just reset the computer (2 times). They indicated a problem/error code waswith the turbo temperature being read by the computer. Of course the typical questions about fueling up and properly tightening the fuel cap. I've had no problems wth the running of the truck. It's going to service on Tuesday to further evaluate the MIL.

Dealer took 4 hours to diagnosis the problem and code. I believe it was code P245A. They finally cleaned the EGR valve and told me not to idle too much as it would build up soot on the EGR valve.

just got mine back from shop, they put in a new turbo and a upgraded program( they wouldnt give the code ) hopfully this does the trick.
with the bad turbo i had no boost or brake action and the powre was low. mpg at 13.5
new turbo is still stiff and not coming up but that will free up in the next wk,hopefully the mpg will go back two 18mpg+ back and forth to work.

I traded my 2000 5.9, 5 speed manual for the 2007 6.7 auto. although I only have 305 mi. its a sweet ride
It will be interesting to see how it tows 14k. My only concern is mpg right now

It will tow just fine. You'll have to wait a while for the mileage, but it will come as you break the engine in. I've heard plenty of people are getting decent mileage with the 6.7s. It may not be as good as your 2000, but I bet you'll be happy with the new found power.

my 6.7 continues to have problems. I pull a loaded goosneck trailer in stop and go houston traffic. I also have several hot shot companies that haul for me and all their 07 cummins have the same problem even after the tsb up date compliance! Is there a rev b or c? Use of the jake brake down a long high bridge causes the emission warning light to come on every time.

Maybe you are not driving it right. There must be something you are doing wrong, or the dealership did wrong. I tow with mine all the time, and daily drive, and I have no probs.
